General Terms of Sale
Credit Card orders:
USA and Canada: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club. We do not apply any surcharge for credit cards. You will be charged only the total that you see on order page.
Prepaid Orders:
You will be automatically emailed detailed bank/wire transfer instructions after you submit the order. Please allow 1-2 business days for bank transfer to realize. For exact transfer timeframe please contact your bank.
Customers placing orders with non-US/Canada issued American Express cards might be a subject to additional verification. We will do our best to complete verification within one business day. However, delay is possible. We will notify you if we encounter any problems.
PayPal Orders:
We will ship only to the PayPal-confirmed addresses and when the payment is eligible for the Sellers Protection. Please confirm your address with PayPal before ordering.
All international customers are ultimately responsible for any customs duties, fees, and/or local taxes if applicable to the shipment. In the event of the shipping company charging Laptop Authority for the customs taxes/duty a client is responsible for, such client authorizes Laptop Authority to charge his/her credit card on file to recover these funds. If there is no credit card on file, a bill will be sent to such client and the payment is expected within 10 business days.
All orders from Nebraska, USA are charged at 7% tax rate.
All claims for shortage or damage must be made no later then seven days after receiving the goods.
Dead on arrival (DOA) defined as product that is inoperable upon first installation. Product is considered inoperable ONLY if the manufacturer recognise it as defective. (Note: the most of manufacturers do not consider LCD screen with less than five bad pixels as defective, so such computer is not considered as DOA.) Products that fail after being in use for any period of time are defined as defective and must be handled under the manufacturer`s warranty program.
DOA and defective merchandise will be replaced, repaired, or credited (our option). DOA Claims should be submitted not later than seven days from the date of delivery.
15% restocking fee (25% for RAM) applies to all cancelled and shipped items returned for refund or store credit against future purchase. No returns or refunds after 15 days.
S/H charges are non-refundable. Clients are solely responsible for all costs, associated with shipping products back to us in the event of the return, repair, or replacement procedure. Replacement (or repaired) product will be shipped to a client via ground service, regardless of the original shipping method selected. However, shipping will be upgraded if a client is willing to pay for a faster service.
No returns without RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization). Once issued, RMA is valid within ten (10) business days. All products must be returned in the manufacturer`s original packaging and must contain all parts, such as manuals, software and cables. Products returned without all of the original parts may be returned to you at your expense and without a credit issued by Laptop Authority.
All orders for custom-built products cannot be cancelled or returned. Purchase of a product with extended warranty is considered the order for a custom-built product. Full payment is expected immediately after such order is submitted. Order for all non-custom-built products is charged upon actual shipping. Fujitsu LifeBook E and P series computers are not returnable.
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, Laptop Authority has the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect price. Laptop Authority has the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Laptop Authority will immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
Laptop Authority is not responsible for misprints or mistakes in specifications posted on our site. Please, check the manufacturer`s website for the latest information. Simply refer to the manufacturer`s part number of the item in question.
If any action is commenced for the collection of the amount due or to enforce the "terms and conditions of sales", the buyer must pay attorney`s fees and any other costs associated with the aforementioned action.
The sale shall be governed by and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Nebraska, USA.
